TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31: THE GIGANTIC NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION AT BAYFRONT PARK
Everything is set for Miami’s community to enjoy the city’s most popular event: the New Year’s Eve celebration. As tradition holds, the event will take place on December 31 in the vast grounds of Bayfront Park, located in the heart of downtown. The park will shine as it bids farewell to 2024 and welcomes 2025 with hope and excitement.
From 6:00 PM that day until 1:30 AM the next morning (Wednesday, January 1), there will be a free, family-friendly, outdoor show featuring an impressive lineup of renowned artists, including Willy Chirino, Arturo Sandoval, Chino y Nacho, Luis Enrique, Gente de Zona, Maribel Guardia, Aymée Nuviola, and many more.
This celebration is the largest Hispanic New Year’s Eve event in the United States and the second most important in the country, surpassed only by Times Square. Commissioner Joe Carollo, who also serves as Chairman of the Bayfront Park Management Trust, is leading the organization of this mega event.
“This event reflects the artistic quality and level of excellence our city deserves, a city admired worldwide,” explained Commissioner Carollo. He revealed that the festival will feature no less than “26 top-tier musical performances, including solo artists and bands.”
Carollo invited all citizens to attend on the 31st, emphasizing that it will be “a free, unforgettable event, a gift to the community, offering entertainment for all ages and a break from everyday worries.”
Commissioner Carollo and his organizing team estimate an attendance of 150,000 people, comfortably accommodated within Bayfront Park’s spacious 32 acres.
Further details about the event will be released in the coming days, including the date of a press conference featuring the participating musical stars.
